Le Masciare expands further with new terrain acquisition!
April 2023 – We believe in Irpinia. We believe in the people who live there, in their culture, their hospitality, their desire to do things, their wonderful landscapes.
And even if we owners are not of Irpinian origin, we believe in its great winemaking potential. If we talk about Aglianico grapes in particular, we believe in Paternopoli.
For this reason we have recently purchased approximately 5.5 hectares of these beautiful lands that you see in the photo, located south-east of Paternopoli in an area called Candriano.
Long live Irpinia and long live its greatest red, Taurasi DOCG.We believe in the great potential of Irpinia in making wines that stand the test of time.
In addition, we bought some 1.6 hectares in Lapio on the border with Montefusco at an altitude of almost 620mt, which will become a vineyard for our Fiano di Avellino Cru.
